Lakeside Energy from Waste Ltd is a joint venture project between two of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies; Grundon Waste Management and Viridor.
Based near Slough, the Lakeside EfW facility at Colnbrook, has been operational since 2010. Using advanced technologies this plant can process 410,000 tonnes of residual waste per year, generating 37MW of power.
Lakeside Energy has a large work space where dust and dirt build up, due to the nature of the recycling processes. The Sweepmaster B800 and B650 sweepers are ideal for these kind of environments. As a result are able to cut down time spent cleaning manually dramatically.
