To find out more about Pete, we held a small Q&A session, details below:-

What is your new role at Hako?

I am the new National Service Manager for Hako Machines and very much looking forward to getting started in my new role!

Tell us about your experience and how this will benefit you at Hako?

I have previously worked as a Service Manager for an International compressor company, maintaining compressors around the world for companies of varying sizes. My most recent role was as a Site Manager for a High Security Prison in Worcestershire which meant managing the maintenance contract and maintenance team. Both roles were challenging in their own different ways, which will help in my new career at Hako. I am a firm believer that the best asset for any company is its staff and that is how I like to manage a team.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

Learning a new product range, meeting all the staff and engaging in the company ethos.

How do you spend your weekends?

Saturdays are usually spent with the family but you will also find me at a football or cricket match if I can get there. I have just started playing golf again, but don’t ask me about my handicap! Most Sundays you will find me in the kitchen trying to hone my cooking skills. With summer approaching and the country hopefully getting back on its feet, it also means more chance to get out and about around my home town in the Midlands.

What is top of your bucket list?

I have always wanted to travel over to the Far East and visit countries such as Japan and Vietnam. The diversity of the countries and people really fascinates me. It would be an amazing experience to ride the famous bullet train in Japan and try the much talked about street food in Vietnam. If I wanted a more relaxed place to travel then the Maldives has to be top of the list. It looks like absolute paradise!

Welcome to “Team Hako” Pete
